Such a beautiful day

to sit and see my son playing with sand

and feel the breeze coming through the woods

We stayed there for 2 hours. Where?? The place 20 minutes walk away from my place.

Marugame Castle!

It's about 400 years old and 60 meters to the top level.The pleasant castle ground is a park with lots of trees and playground for kids. I love to come to this place feeling the breezy air and

maybe a scent of history.

Yesterday my son got bored with watching Big Truck DVD for Kids, then we started crafting together. He loves to cut paper,paste stickers and rubber stamps! I love to use Chiyogami and Masking Tapes for crafting. The empty cookie box turned out unique crayon box!

I love masking tape because it's easy to decorate pictures too on the wall.

After I came back from the kitchen, I realized he glued his favorite fire engine magnet on the box we just made...:D He loves trucks in the end...

The rainiy season is almost here and I always remember the smell of Bali,Indonsesia. The place I love so much. Especially in this rainy season, I miss being in a heavenly beautiful island. I love the air and smell of food, :) and culture, people. Can't wait go back there with my son someday.

Scents often remind me memories and I like the way I sense. Like when I smell lilies, I remember the day that I found out I was pregnant. It's more like I remember how I felt.

Pink of Strawberry Smoothie.

Made us happy this afternoon even in the muggy weather.

My son, 3yrs old,is so into alphabet now. He sings a few alphabet songs all day. You Tube makes me crazy... but it's good that he is learning. So I made some alphabet magnets for him, using Chiyogami and magnet sheet. You can check the Chiyogami paper @my shop. I just love them.

in the kitchen

When I was a student in Toronto, I lived with a couple of friends in a house and they used to say, "If finding Natsu, go straight to the kitchen." :) That's how much I love cooking and I loved to cook with my friends having some chat.

These are what i like in my kitchen. One of my best friends gave me linen handkerchief with my name on it. Isn't it lovely? I use it as a kitchen cloth. And cute monkey chopsticks for my son.

As kitchen clothes, I like to use "tenugui" because they are very absorbent and quick to dry. And off course good print!

My handmade oven mitt. I just like to embroider. No need to think anything while embroidering.
