Can't Get Out Of Bed...

he can hardly get out of bed lately and
even after he gets out of bed, he snuggles into my arms or
snuggles under the blankets on the sofa...
i just love to see him doing that.
such a lovely moment
what makes me surprised is he enjoys the warmth
of the blanket with his eyes closed :)

my quick lunch - spinach & bacon cheese toast

(i usually come back from work for lunch. i like that way
'cos i can do some works before i pick him up from preschool.)

it's jsut a lovely day today

want to spread all the quilts on the balcony and air them!

sunday morning

we took a bath this morning
with a few drops of peppermint oil.
was so nice
it was for soothing my son's nose
i dont know if it worked but it did
work on me for relaxation.
after a relaxing bath time,
we had a high calorie breakfast :D
doughnuts with red bean paste
&
minestrone with clams which is my favorite soup
for winter time.
what soup do you like especially for winter??

serenity

a new week has just started...

i'm trying to wake up 1.5hrs earlier so that i can do my update of my shops

and get ready for a day.

it's nice that i can concentrate on what i do in the morning and

i don't sit up late at night surfing internet any longer...

one thing i hate about getting up early is

it's getting colder in the morning.

but

new room shoes warm my feet :)

getting ready for winter...
we've just received them from my sister.

about autumn

what do you love about autumn?
for me,
definitely fragrant olive!
smells so sweet,
reminds me of the arrival
of the season.
to tell you the truth,
i don't like autumn very much
because
the air of autumn just makes me feel lonely.
do you agree?
(my favorite season is summer)
but
dont worry
winter is coming
and
i will soon start missing autumn :)

calm,humane,honest

be calm,
be humane,
be honest
i got these 3 postcards from an old lady at the castle ground where
we play in the weekend.
she stays there from 11 am to 4 pm almost everyday
and she says she draws 10,000 pcs an year and
give them to people and enjoys talking with people.
her grandchildren are all over 20yrs old...
can you imagine...
she is amazing.
powerful.
i love her words on the postcards.
" You find what you want to do. Not anybody else."
(chestnut)
this is what i want to tell to my son when he gets older.
"It's ok with who you are"
(fig)
it was raining all day today,
tried to be calm at home.

after this freshly squeezed grapefruit juice,

we took a walk in the rain 'cos no way that he could stay at home

all day...you know...

rice ball & vege sticks

the last post was about instant miso soup stock.
now
you can add a hint of mirin(or sugar) & grated ginger to the miso stock you made
and spread it on the rice balls!
then put them in the toaster or
fly in the pan.
and
if you still have more of it
add sesami oil (on top of mirin & ginger)
then
here is dip sause for vegetables!!
yummy
try it!
our today's breakfast
tuna & potato cheese bread
pear smoothie

i woke up to find out we didn't have bread left and
made these. took me only 30 min!
i will update the bread receipe soon.

i made sandwiches with the bread and went to the huge park
but
there was nobody...
in this HUGE park!
where do people go when you have this kind of beautiful park??
shopping?

miso soup

- shiitake mashroom soysause rice with instant miso soup -
finally it's getting colder in Japan and
great season to enjoy soups!
especially miso soup
i don't prefer to eat in hot summer days
but now
i'm already missing miso soups.
all you need is :
miso
finely chopped green onion
(wash them and wipe them before adding for longer preservation)
a pinch of dashi stock
or
dried bonito flake
just put them together!
if salty, add a teaspoon of mirin
this miso paste can be presereved about a week in fridge
just make a ball of miso paste and
place it in the alminium foil
then grill for a few minute in the toaster
until its surface gets slightly browned
ready to carry miso paste in your bento!
tuck it in your lunch box
(if you eat at home, no need to grill)
take seaweed(nori) with you
and shred nori after adding hot water
done!
dried bonito flake and dashi stock
