sweet potato cream

finally
it looks like summer ended(still hot in the afternoon)
then
autum is the season to eat in japan :)
i got some sweet potatos and decided to cook sweet potato cream
for lunch!
just
cook some sweet potato in the microwave until they are cooked
and
mash them with fork
add some sugar and milk(and vanilla extract)
then a little little bit of salt.
that's it.
good with pancake,toast!

  5. Do you have a photo of the Potato before it is mashed? I am curious what it looks like. Sweet potatoes in the US are naturally orange (daidaiiro?)in color!

    I remember I used to buy "purple yam" at Korean Grocery stores or Chinese. The color inside Japanese sweet potato is basically white(yellow).
    I think the orage one doesn't taste the same...
    Hope you can find purple yam!!
